Elkhorn, NE (February 6, 2025) – An injury car crash occurred Thursday evening in northwest Omaha, leaving three individuals injured. The accident, reported by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, took place around 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of 204th St and Fort St in Elkhorn.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, an SUV was stopped and attempting to make a left turn when it was rear-ended by a sedan. The driver of the sedan and two children in the SUV were transported by ambulance with injuries.
The injured parties were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition. Authorities have confirmed that alcohol and excessive speed were not factors in the crash.
