The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported that the collision involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Highway 136 near 610 Avenue.
The driver of the pickup, identified as 42-year-old Troy Schwartz of Beatrice, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
