Madison Co, NE (March 12, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred on Tuesday morning in Madison Co, claiming the life of a male driver and leaving a female driver with life-threatening injuries. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Hwy 275 near Meadow Grove.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a westbound SUV crossed into the eastbound lanes, prompting the driver of a pickup to attempt an evasive maneuver. Unfortunately, a head-on collision occurred. Emergency personnel from Meadow Grove and Battle Creek responded to the scene, working to extricate the female driver from the pickup.
