Dodge Co, NE (December 2, 2024) <\/b>\u2013 A fatal semi-truck crash occurred on Thanksgiving Day in Dodge County, claiming the life of a 22-year-old Omaha woman. The incident, reported by the Dodge County Sheriff\u2019s Office, occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 77 and the Highway 275 bypass north of Fremont.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Dodge County Sheriff\u2019s Office, a semi-truck attempted to make a left turn from the HWY 275 off-ramp to head southbound on HWY 77 when it collided with a Kia Sorento traveling southbound. The driver of the Kia, Shana Lininger, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Kia was taken to Methodist Fremont Health in stable condition.<\/span><\/p>\n
