The incident, reported by the Lancaster County Sheriff\u2019s Office (LSO), occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. at Highway 6 (West O St) and SW 84th Street near Emerald.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the LSO, a man riding an electric bicycle failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a westbound car traveling on Hwy 6. Emergency responders, including paramedics and firefighters, quickly arrived to provide medical assistance and secure the area. The bicyclist was transported by ambulance to a Lincoln hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, where he underwent surgery on Monday morning.
