Louisville, NE (March 22, 2025) – <\/strong>A two-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon brought traffic to a standstill near the Platte River on the Cass County side, with northbound traffic diverted as emergency crews responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

The crash occurred at approximately 3:21 p.m. on March 20 along northbound Highway 31 near its intersection with Highway 50. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the area just before the Platte River, where they discovered two vehicles had collided. The extent of injuries has not yet been released, but at least one person was hurt in the accident and transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Northbound lanes were shut down temporarily as investigators and cleanup crews worked the scene. Traffic was diverted around the area, causing delays for commuters traveling through Cass County.
