Jefferson Co, NE (December 10, 2024) – An injury bus crash occurred on Monday, December 9, in Jefferson County, resulting in injuries to the occupants of two cars. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department reported the incident shortly before 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Bud Holmes Road and Tapawingo Road. No students were aboard the bus at the time of the crash, and the bus driver was unharmed.

According to authorities, the collision occurred when two cars struck the school bus. The driver and passenger of one of the cars were injured and immediately transported to a nearby hospital by emergency medical services. The condition of the driver and passenger has not been released. The third vehicle involved in the crash was also impacted, but no word has been given on any injuries to its occupants.
