Dawson, NE (January 20, 2025) – An injury semi-truck crash occurred on Friday, January 17, involving an Amazon Prime semi-trailer, a maintenance train, and a car, resulting in a spill of packages along Highway 75 in southeastern Nebraska. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m., approximately 20 miles northwest of Falls City, as reported by the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the semi collided with a maintenance train, causing the trailer to hit a car waiting for the train to pass. Emergency response teams were quickly on the scene, and the car’s driver was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The collision damaged the trailer, and packages from the Amazon shipment were scattered across the roadway. The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the semi-driver was ticketed for multiple offenses related to the crash.
