Kearney, NE (January 16, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Thursday night in Kearney, tragically claiming the life of a woman. The incident, reported by the Kearney Police Department, took place around 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of W 13th St and Central Ave.
According to the Kearney Police Department, the woman was hit by a car while crossing the intersection. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and the woman was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly after she arrived at the hospital.
