Kimball, NE (December 19, 2024) – An injury pedestrian crash occurred Thursday afternoon in Kimball, leaving a local woman with injuries.
The incident was reported by the Kimball Police Department (KPD) around 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of E 3rd St and S Chestnut St.
According to Chief of Police Jose Ruiz, a 39-year-old woman was crossing E 3rd St when a car, turning from S Chestnut St onto E 3rd St, hit her. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the woman was transported by ambulance to Kimball County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Kimball County Sheriff’s Office and emergency medical professionals responded promptly, helping to secure the area and provide critical assistance. Firefighters also aided in controlling traffic and ensuring the safe extraction of vehicles involved, as needed.
