Lincoln, NE (March 15, 2025) – A pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a vehicle on Friday night, March 14, in south Lincoln.
Authorities responded to reports of the crash just before 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of 10th Street and High Street. According to Sgt. David Lopez of the Lincoln Police Department, a 42-year-old man was attempting to cross 10th Street when a vehicle struck him.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and rushed the man to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, he passed away around 3 a.m. due to the severity of his injuries.
