Unadilla, NE (Dec 1, 2024) – A serious injury semi-truck crash occurred early Thursday morning near Unadilla, leaving three individuals hospitalized. The collision, reported by the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office, occurred around 5:50 a.m. on Hwy 2, near the intersection with Co Rd G.
Authorities confirmed that a Chevrolet pickup, traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of Hwy 2, collided head-on with a semi-truck. The 17-year-old driver of the pickup, a Tecumseh resident, suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Lincoln hospital. The semi-truck driver, a 66-year-old man from Wellston, OH, was transported to a hospital in Syracuse. His passenger, a 70-year-old man from Richmond, IN, was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Lincoln.
