Omaha, NE (June 3, 2025) – A man lost his life early Tuesday, June 2, in a suspected hit-and-run accident near the corner of Pacific Street and Park Avenue.
Officers with the Omaha Police Department were called to the scene just before 4:45 a.m. on June 3 after receiving a report of a person lying on the street. When emergency crews arrived, they found the victim with serious injuries.
Douglas County officials confirmed that the man, later identified as 42-year-old Frederick Miller IV, was rushed to the hospital with life-saving efforts already underway. Despite those efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Investigators say Miller’s injuries were consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Authorities believe the driver involved may have left the scene before police arrived. At this time, police have not released details about the vehicle or driver. The incident remains under active investigation.
