Otoe Co, NE (November 25, 2024) – A serious injury car crash occurred on Monday evening near Palmyra in Otoe Co. The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. on Hwy 2, between N 4th Rd and Hwy 43, resulting in a significant emergency response.
According to the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office, the collision left at least two individuals injured. One victim was airlifted by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital, while another was transported by ambulance. The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) temporarily closed Hwy 2 in both directions; it has since reopened to one lane in each direction.
