Stanton Co, NE (February 11, 2025) – A serious injury crash occurred on Monday, February 10, in Stanton County, leaving two individuals with severe injuries. The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Highway 275, approximately two miles east of Norfolk.
According to the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck lost control due to icy road conditions, crossed the centerline, and collided with the rear of a semi-tanker. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles, with the pickup being declared a total loss.
Emergency responders, including Stanton County deputies, firefighters, and paramedics, arrived to assist the victims. The driver of the pickup, a 27-year-old man from Wisner, and his passenger, a 33-year-old man from Howells, sustained serious injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
